Job description

ROLE: We seek a professional and organized Line Cook to prepare food according to the Chef's specifications and set up stations for our daily changing menu. The Line Cook will collaborate with other kitchen team members to execute signature dishes and assist the sous chef with daily tasks. Successful candidates will be organized, self-motivated, and possess problem-solving abilities.

Duties

• Understand cooking skills, knife handling, and safety protocols
• Follow directions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
• Cook menu items in coordination with staff
• Ensure food is prepared simultaneously, with high quality and in a timely manner
• Work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
• Work efficiently and quickly
• Maintain stamina to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Ability to walk or stand for extended periods. Capable of pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 30 pounds. Reach items at various heights (shelves, ground, etc.).
