Job summary

The Carolina Inn at Hyatt is hiring a line cook to join our hotel kitchen team in Chapel Hill. A line cook should have strong communication and culinary skills, hotel cooking experience, and a culinary degree.

You will work a single station under supervision, handling fast-paced service in a guest-focused environment. We offer competitive pay at $19.00 per hour, plus benefits after probation, including medical, dental, 401K and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Able to work single station in the kitchen.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule, willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
