Job summary

SSP America in Denver, CO is hiring Line Cooks to join our Back of House team. You will receive food orders, prep dishes, and ensure kitchen setup supports speedy service for Smashburger & Bar and Tivoli Tap House at DEN. This role emphasizes correct recipe execution and quality tasting.

Starting wage is $24.75 per hour with a raise to $26.25 per hour after six months; advancement opportunities and full benefits are offered. We’re hiring immediately and provide free employee parking.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a food service environment.
• Verbal and written communication in English are essential.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present items.
• Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily.
• Stock food, paper products, and condiments; rotate products as needed.
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and breakdown of equipment; complete opening/closing checklists.
• Ensure quality and safety of all products served.
