Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Responsabilités

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Salary Range: $25.00 To $27.00 Hourly

Sherwood Country Club is a private, member-owned golf and country club in Thousand Oaks, California. Set at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, Sherwood is home to a championship 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, driving range and stately golf clubhouse. Sherwood also has a full service Tennis Clubhouse complete with a member and family dining room, pub, swimming pool, gymnasium, fitness facility and spa. The tennis club has 12 tennis courts, including 8 hard courts (one with stadium seating), two clay courts, 2 grass courts, 3 pickle ball courts, sand volleyball and a sports court, all of which can be lit for nighttime play.
