Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking an experienced and creative Line Cook 1 PM | Trick Rider to join our team. The resort features extensive event spaces, numerous dining outlets, a spa, and entertainment options, including a new age supper club called Trick Rider, serving curated food and cocktails with a modern twist.

The Line Cook 1 ensures all prep items are prepared and stored according to hotel specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Independently prepares all food items as directed by supervisor and to the company specifications.
  • Work efficiently on a hot/cold line executing menu items within specified timelines.
  • Inspect all food products for quality.
  • Follow proper storage procedures for food safety.
  • Use culinary equipment safely and properly.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Experience with kitchen utensils, equipment, and safety standards.
  • 3+ years of culinary experience preferred; proficiency in at least one station.
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen prep, knife skills, sanitation, and safety.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Formal culinary training or degree preferred.
  • Food Handlers certification required or obtained upon hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow recipes accurately.
