Job summary

Piero's Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Cook for our fine dining kitchen where presentation and consistency matter. You will work evenings and weekends, following recipes and maintaining high standards of food quality.

You will master station setup, handle knives and equipment safely, multitask under pressure, and communicate with kitchen and front-of-house teams. Clark County Food Handler Card is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience in fine dining or high-end setting.
  • Experience with knife skills, food safety, and station management.
  • Familiarity with classical cooking techniques and modern plating.
  • Clark County Food Handler Card.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items consistently and accurately, following prescribed recipes and presentation standards.
  • Accommodate special requests while maintaining food quality and integrity.
  • Prepare and portion ingredients in advance of service.
  • Master the technical requirements of assigned station(s), including setup and breakdown.
  • Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and effectively, including knives and thermometers.
  • Maintain up-to-date counts on menu items and communicate low inventory to kitchen leadership.
  • Keep workstation clean, orderly, and stocked throughout the shift; prep for next service.
  • Multitask calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.
  • Communicate clearly with all kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Adhere to hand-washing and sanitation protocols.
  • Accurately account for all food items prepared on the POS system.
  • Uphold quality and consistency for every dish served.
