Job Summary

Our Line Cook is a key player in ensuring each guest receives their order promptly and accurately, leaving with a smile and a memorable experience of excellent service. You'll be part of an amazing team, helping to build guest loyalty through your own shining example. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and season a variety of meats, vegetables, soups, and other food items according to prescribed recipes.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 6 months to 1 year
  • Experience Desired: Prior experience in food service or a related field
  • Education Desired: No High School diploma required
  • Certification or Licensing Required: Food Safety
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure food is prepared and served simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timeliness.
  • Understand and demonstrate various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of work for team members, guests, and products.
  • Provide excellent guest service, striving to delight and surprise guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, cutting meat, preparing sauces).
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the restaurant staff.
  • Follow instructions from the Executive Chef.
  • Clean up the kitchen and properly handle leftover food.
  • Know and consistently comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
