Job summary

Ideal Nutrition in West Palm Beach, FL is hiring full-time line cooks to join a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. This in-person role requires 2 years cooking experience, 1 year restaurant experience, and a current Food Handler certification preferred.

Night shifts from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with 40 hours per week. You will prepare dishes per recipes, maintain sanitation, stock stations, and support the kitchen during high-volume periods.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience: minimum 2 years (required).
• Restaurant experience: minimum 1 year (required).
• Food handler certificate preferred.
• Night shift availability preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for highly skilled and motivated line cooks that will help us create healthy and nutritious meals. Line Cooks will work in a fast pace, team orientated, professional kitchen.

Job Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Line Cook responsibilities and requirements:

• Prepare components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes
• Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
• Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards
• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on quality control schedule
• Comprehensive knowledge of a full working line
• Experience in grill, flat top and Sautee
• Experience in sauces
• Experience with healthy cooking will be considered a bonus
• Experience with high volume restaurants will be considered a bonus
