Job summary

Southern Rock Restaurants, home to McAlister's Deli, seeks a reliable Line Cook in Missouri to join our kitchen team. You will maintain prep areas, handle cooking duties, and ensure orders are prepared quickly and accurately while meeting quality and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to read orders, and ready to work collaboratively with the team to keep stations clean and stocked through each shift. Training and growth opportunities are available within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils in clean, organized condition.
• Manages sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Reads food orders and/or receives verbal instructions and prepares orders quickly and accurately.
• Cleans and restocks station at the beginning and end of each shift; preps additional items as necessary.
• Ensures prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements; adheres to sanitation policies.
