Qualifications

  • Culinary experience of 0-3 years for Line Cook I or II.
  • 3+ years of resort culinary experience for Line Cook III.

Pay: 15-17 based on experience and education

Start Date: Mid-May with positions available through the summer season

Seasonal: This position is available from Late May to the Beginning of October, aligning with our winter ski and summer bike/golf seasons. Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year.

Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Stock inventory and set up kitchen stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Pre-preparing food for service (e.g., chopping, cutting, mixing, or prepping sauces).
  • Cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen team.
  • Keep workstation and kitchen clean.
  • Ensure menu items are high quality and timely.
  • Practice proper food handling and storage to meet nutrition and sanitation standards.
  • Deliver guest food orders accurately following recipes and instructions.
  • Prepare plate menu items per specifications on hot food production line with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Use knives, ovens, grills, warming trays, and other restaurant equipment safely.
  • Prepare and stock ingredients for other meals, set up as per instructions, and follow standardized recipes and production sheets.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive/Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Culinary degree for Line Cook III.

Preferred Experience:
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • 0-3 years of culinary experience (depending on placement into Line Cook I or II).
  • 3+ years of resort culinary experience for Line Cook III.
