Job summary

Touchmark at All Saints in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Line Cook to join our five-star hospitality team. You will help prepare meals, plate attractively, and contribute to a warm, resident-focused dining experience.

The ideal candidate has culinary experience, a high school diploma, and is willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification. You must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet, with shifts available full-time or part-time and no late nights.

• Culinary experience and commitment to Touchmark values.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and positive attitude with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate meals with fresh ingredients to meet high standards.
• Educate residents and staff about healthy food options and menu choices.
• Maintain the Gold Standard in cooking, food preparation, and presentation.

As a Line Cook, you know the impact that a beautifully plated meal made from fresh ingredients has on a dining experience. You will be part of the team responsible for educating residents and team members about healthy food options, getting to know a community of wonderful people, and helping to ensure that we always maintain the Gold Standard in all aspects of cooking, food preparation, and presentation.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
• Have culinary experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
• Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
