ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a dedicated line cook to join our kitchen staff in San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of kitchen preparation and cooking experience, able to communicate effectively with the team, and follow precise recipes.

The line cook will prepare food to the chef's specifications, ensure the kitchen station is set up and cleaned, and support the growth within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to follow printed recipes and plate specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to the specifications of the chef and establishment.
• Ensure station is set up and cleaned properly.
• Cook and stock the station as needed.

Our line cooks are very important members of our kitchen staff. They are responsible for making sure that food is prepared to the exact specifications of the chef, establishment, and customer. We want our line cooks to grow and move up in the kitchen to positions with more responsibility. The following duties expected of a line cook: Station Set Up- Food Prep- Cook- Stock Station- Clean up

Requirements/Responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and wait staff.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
• Must be able to follow printed recipes and plate specifications.
