Job summary

Tazza Kitchen in Richmond, VA is looking for talented line cooks to join our kitchen team in both part-time and full-time capacities. The starting hourly wage ranges from $19 to $25, with a focus on wood-fired cooking and high-volume pace.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant is required.
• Safe, competent knife skills are essential.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn all recipes, sourcing and cooking techniques.
• Adhere to quality, sanitation and safety standards.
• Cross-train across stations: salad, sauté, plancha and wood oven.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Help with prep and dishwashing when needed.

Starting hourly wage: $19-$25/hour

Responsibilities include:

• learning all recipes, sourcing and cooking techniques
• adhering to standards of quality, sanitation and safety protocols
• cross training in all stations - salad, sauté, plancha and wood oven
• assist with inventory management
• assist with prep and dishwashing when needed
