Babcock National Golf Club in Punta Gorda, FL is inviting applications for a Full-Time Line Cook. The role supports restaurant and banquet operations, preparing and portioning food, and contributing to guest satisfaction.

The position offers $22.00 hourly, with opportunities for learning and growth within a fast-paced hospitality environment at a Troon property. High school diploma or GED preferred, basic food-safety training beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance with production plan or forecast needs.
• Utilizes whole food products eliminating any waste.
• Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner.
• Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production.
• Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps, dates, and rotates food items.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Compensation: $22.00 hourly

General Purpose

• Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, guestconsumptionand enjoyment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance with production plan or forecast needs.
• Utilizes whole foodproductseliminatingany waste.
• Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands
