Job summary

SSP America is seeking a Line Cook at the Pittsburgh Airport to receive orders and prepare delicious dishes, ensuring the kitchen is organized for efficient service. You will thrive in a fast-paced Back of House environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in food service, a high school diploma, and solid communication skills in English, with the ability to stand for long periods and perform basic math tasks. Benefits include paid vacation and a company-supported 401K plan.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English to communicate with guests.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Food handlers permit as required by law.
• Brand Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive food orders and prepare dishes for guests in a timely manner.
• Set up the kitchen so every item and tool is easily accessible during the shift.
• Work in the Back of House to support line cooks during service.

Job description

• Shift Differential: Earn an additional $1.00/hour for shifts worked between 3:00 AM and 4:30 AM.
• Monthly Bus Pass: SSP will reimburse for cost of monthly bus pass or Free Parking
