Job summary

True Food Kitchen in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You’ll prep, cook, and plate dishes across stations such as Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, or Grill, with multi-station experience a plus.

This role offers evenings, weekends, and holiday flexibility in a busy environment. Ideal candidates have 6+ months in a high-volume kitchen and strong knife skills, with a passion for quality presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare starters, entrées, pizzas, and more.
• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards.
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with prep, opening/closing, and smooth operations.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

WHO WE'RE INVITING TO THE TABLE

We’re looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our fast-paced, high-energy kitchen. You’ll prep, cook, and plate delicious dishes across stations like Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, or Grill (experience in multiple stations a plus!).

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Prepare starters, entrées, pizzas, and more
• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, continuously bend, reach and twist
