PopStroke is opening a new venue on Orlando’s International Drive and is building the opening team for our newest location. We’re hiring energetic, hospitality-driven people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a team-first attitude.

As a Cook, you will ensure high-quality culinary services, prepare food safely and efficiently, and collaborate with the kitchen team while upholding cleanliness and safety standards. This role is non-exempt with a pay rate of $18-$24 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Cook in a high‑volume environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

• Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests.
• Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food in accordance with our preparation and execution standards.
• Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability.
• Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, countertops, walk‑in coolers, and storage areas, to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
• Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed.
• Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from the kitchen to tables.
• Must be able to safely use a ladder.
