Job summary

PopStroke LLC in Orlando is opening a new venue on International Drive and is assembling the opening team. If you love hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences, this is the role for you.

We are seeking energetic bartenders to welcome guests, explain the menu, manage orders, and serve with a smile in both indoor and outdoor spaces. This is a non-exempt, hourly-plus-tips position with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience using POS systems.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the restaurant/bar.
• Share knowledge of the food menu and spirits/beer/wine.
• Assist guests with the PopStroke mobile ordering app.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders to restaurant, bar and golf guests.
• Serve guests in restaurant and golf course areas with outstanding service.
• Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant, food & beverage and gaming areas.

Pay rate: $Hourly + tips

Role type: non-exempt

• Welcome guests to the restaurant/bar.
• Share knowledge of the food menu and spirits/beer/wine.
• Assist guests with PopStroke mobile ordering app.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders to restaurant, bar and golf guests.
• Serve our guests in the restaurant and golf course areas with outstanding attention to service and provide a memorable and fun experience.
• Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant and food & beverage areas and gaming areas.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks, stock ice, glassware, flatware, and supplies.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation ordinances, and with all state liquor laws and regulations.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments and balancing cash drawers.
• Responsible for proper outdoor furniture and yard games storage.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to safely use a ladder.
