Nougatine in New York, NY is seeking Line Cooks to join our culinary team. You will prepare dishes, follow Jean-Georges Vongerichten standards, and work with precision to deliver menu items that meet our high quality and timing expectations.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally a 2-year degree or apprenticeship in culinary arts, with at least one year in fine dining. Strong English, sanitation training, and the ability to work flexible hours are required.

The entire Culinary team must understand and implement the standards and the vision of Jean-Georges Vongerichten while following all directives of all Kitchen Management. All Cooks are responsible for delivering the highest quality food and service at all times. Cooks are responsible for daily operational procedures and are responsible for food production and plating in accordance with company specs and timing standards. Cooks are responsible for following Company recipes at all times. To uphold the Jean-Georges Values and Mission Statement while performing positional responsibilities and adhering to operational standards.
The base pay range for this position is $20 - $24 per hr.The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paidwithin the rangedepends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, etc.
