Job summary

Treviso Bay, located in Naples, FL, is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook to join Troon. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include preparing food per recipes, maintaining quality, sanitation, and assisting in training, with weekend/holiday availability. Compensation is $20.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, 2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to operate convection and conventional ovens, fryer, broiler, salamander, slicer, mixer, and food processor.
• Ability to read food orders in English.
• Math skills for food prep and ordering.
• Specialized/technical training preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food according to supervisors specifications and recipes.
• Maintains quality standards of food and beverage service by preparing and presenting menu items according to company standards and supervisors direction.
• Ensures clean and orderly workspace by adhering to public health codes, sanitation and safety policies.
• Verifies product stock and rotate as necessary, informing supervisor of item or equipment that needs to be ordered; may be responsible for ordering at supervisors discretion.
• Completes approved opening duties at the beginning of each day.
• Completes approved closing duties at the end of each day by organizing, cleaning and sanitizing workspace.
• Maintains effective communication skills by interacting professionally with co-workers.
• May be required to assist in training other cooks.
• Implements and supports all initiatives and programs as requested by management.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation : $20.00 - $22.00 hourly, based on experience.

Overview:

Ideal candidates are highly dependable, team-oriented, and able to take direction with at least 1-2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook will assist the Chef and Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all culinary outlets on the property, including but not limited to kitchen sanitation, cleanliness, preparation, and delivery. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department.

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma required, 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate the following equipment is required: convection and conventional oven, fryer, broiler, salamander, slice, mixer, food processor, dish washer and all small wares and utensils.
• To perform this job successfully, the individual should possess math skills required to complete food preparation and ordering job functions.
• The ability to read food orders in English.
• Specialty/Technical training preferred.
• The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Working Conditions:

• Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping.
• The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands.
• The employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 30lbs.
• Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Noise level is moderate to loud.
• Work extended hours during golf and holiday season.
• Work weekends and holidays.
