Meet Me at Madison's Cafe in Montclair, NJ is seeking a line cook for breakfast and brunch service. The role requires fast-paced energy, reliable kitchen skills, and bilingual Spanish proficiency. Weekend shifts only, with Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm schedules and a starting pay of $25 per hour.

• 121 Watchung Avenue in Montclair NJ.

Must have a good attitude and breakfast food service experience.

Follows recipes and proper cooking techniques to ensure products are consistently prepared to showcase our high standards and give our guests a meal they can't find elsewhere!

Willing to work in a fast- paced environment.

The line cook will work the following schedule:

• Saturday, 9a-4p.
• Sunday, 9a-4p.

Starting salary: $25 and varies depending on experience.

Must be bilingual in Spanish.

Job Description:

The line cook will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: Breakfast and Brunch.

• Prepares and cooks breakfast and brunch to-order foods that may require short preparation time.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and will operate grill stations.
• Experience reading line tickets to prepare orders.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
• Attends all training: Foodborne illness service training or other in-service training assigned.
• Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures.
• May assist with receiving inventory.
• Ensures food temperatures are compliant.
