Job summary

Flower Child, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is hiring a Line Cook in Meridian, Idaho. The role requires at least 1 year of high-volume restaurant experience and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare food from scratch by following recipes to ensure consistency.
• Cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch following our recipes to produce consistent results.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items using broilers, ovens and grills.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Work effectively in a high-volume environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Be available to work weekends and some holidays.

• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
