Job summary

Touchmark in McKinney, TX is hiring cooks for day and evening shifts. Starting pay is $19.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience. Weekend and holiday work required. You will lead a high-volume kitchen, maintain safety standards, and work with a team to deliver high-quality meals for residents.

Ideal candidates have at least three years as a lead cook, a high school diploma or equivalent, and food safety certification. Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet is required.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Minimum of three years' experience working as a lead cook in a high-volume kitchen
• High school diploma or equivalent required, formal culinary training preferred.
• Food safety program certification or food handler certification
• Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members

You will get to cook with high-quality ingredients and make wages comparable to the best restaurants in town but in a low-stress environment.
