Job summary

Red Robin is hiring for Prep Cooks to join a high-volume, casual dining team in a fast-paced environment. You will learn Red Robin’s food preparation style and assist with various cooking tasks while upholding health and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to grow within a fun, energetic workplace with opportunities for advancement and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to maintain health and safety standards in a high-volume kitchen.
• Willing to learn Red Robin cooking techniques and procedures.
• Strong team player and good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Learn Red Robin style of food preparation including cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying and cooking various meals.
• Assist with prep and line work in a high-volume kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.

You will learn the Red Robin style of food preparation, which includes cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals such as meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other ingredients.

We offer great restaurant culinary careers for line cooks (cocinero / cocinera) who have back of house cooking, chef, sauté cook, or grill cook kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant environment. We're also looking for HOH team members (Jefe / Jefa) who have back of house preparation / food prep / production experience.
