Job summary

Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a part-time Grill Cook to master authentic Northern Thai grilling techniques and high-quality protein preparation. You will support a fast-paced kitchen while delivering consistent, well-timed plates and upholding traditional flavors.

Experience preferred. Must have Nevada Food Handler Safety Card, and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior grill or line cook experience preferred, especially with Thai or Asian cuisine.
• Must have Nevada Food Handler Safety Card.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook proteins (chicken, pork, beef, seafood) and grilled vegetables to recipe, temperature, and presentation standards.
• Manage the grill station: maintain mise en place, prep marinades, skewers, and sauces as directed.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and consistency.
• Plate and finish dishes according to Lotus of Siam standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station; clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces regularly.
• Rotate inventory, assist with receiving and proper storage of deliveries.
• Report equipment issues, breakage, or safety concerns immediately to management.
• Coordinate with other line cooks, expediters, and servers for timely ticket completion.
• Follow all SNHD food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist other kitchen stations when necessary.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
