Job summary

Village at Belmar, Lakewood's premier senior living community, is seeking a skilled Line Cook for our on-site, from-scratch kitchens. You will prepare made-to-order meals that delight our residents and guests, supporting a high-quality dining experience.

• Requires knowledge of special diets
• Criminal background check will be completed due to work with a vulnerable population

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food according to the menu under the direction of the Executive Chef
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to standardized recipes
• Communicates frequently and professionally with other line cooks, chef, managers, and front of house team members
• Adheres to all safety and sanitation standards
• Ensures all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pay:

$20.50-$21.50 an hour, based on experience
