Job description

Line Cooks at Burger King are responsible for meal preparation, including cooking and plating food orders, according to the restaurant’s standards. They ensure that food is prepared quickly, efficiently, and precisely.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean kitchen and sanitize work areas throughout the shift.
  • Follow the restaurant’s recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Assist in the monitoring of inventory and the ordering of new supplies as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a restaurant cook or prep cook.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school attendance is a plus.
