Description

Job Summary:

The Club at Strawberry Creek is seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-quality food preparation, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Executive Chef.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
  • Assist in food prep tasks, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and marinating proteins.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with health regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
  • Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures as directed by the chef team.
  • Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in a team-focused environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook preferred.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
