The Alamo Kitchen Crew, including line cooks and dishwashers, are essential to our theaters. As a team member in the Alamo Kitchen, you will be responsible for food preparation, adhering to our high standards and recipes. A successful line cook ensures stations are prepped and the kitchen remains clean, preparing and plating delicious recipes to enhance our guests' experience.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uphold standards of behavior based on our Core Values, Code of Conduct, and Operational Guidelines
• Maintain high safety standards, follow protocols to keep teams and guests healthy, and stay informed about all Alamo policies
• Prepare food that looks and tastes delicious using high-quality ingredients
• Organize and prepare guest food tickets based on operational processes, focusing on safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency
• Utilize tools like measuring cups/spoons, scales, and other equipment as per protocols
• Follow cleaning schedules, prep lists, and station stocking guides to control food waste, production, and quality
• Communicate needs, concerns, and important points regularly with teammates and managers
• Support food and beverage delivery as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Over 1 year of experience in a high-volume food production environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active food handler's certification from the relevant state agency
• Passion for film is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfort working in a kitchen environment with equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, fryers, steamers, mixers, and knives, with exposure to heat, steam, noise, and cleaning solutions
• Ability to move cautiously and operate in a busy, loud environment
