Job summary

Dave & Buster’s Indianapolis is hiring a part-time Line Cook to prepare menu items to brand standards and work with a fast-paced service team. You’ll follow recipes, maintain safety and sanitation, and help manage portions and plate presentation.

Ideal candidates have at least six months of line cook or prep cook experience, are 18+, and can work days, nights, weekends and holidays. We offer a supportive culture, employee discounts, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Comply with the company uniform standards.
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience.
• Teamwork is a must; communicate with Management and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!).
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards.
• Help minimize food waste by creating proper portions and avoiding ticket errors.
• Partner with the service team to ensure food is delivered fresh and on time.
• Adhere to health department food safety procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment properly and safely.
• Maintain a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned.
