Job summary

Dave & Buster's, Inc. is seeking a Line Cook in Texas to prepare menu items from recipes, uphold safety standards, and deliver a consistent guest experience.

You will prep and cook according to specifications, maintain a clean, stocked station, and collaborate with service to ensure timely, accurate dishes.

Candidates should have 6 months line cook experience, 18+, Food Handlers cert, and flexibility for days, nights, weekends, holidays; teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age and Food Handlers Certification.
• Comply with uniform standards.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards.
• Minimizing food waste by proper portions and reducing ticket errors.
• Partnering with the service team to ensure timely, fresh dishes.
• Adhering to health department procedures and safety rules.
• Safely operating kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, stocked station before, during, and after shifts.
• Carrying out opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned.
