Job summary

North Italia is seeking Line Cooks for our Huntersville, NC location. This part-time position offers solid pay with room to grow, plus benefits after 25 hours per week, paid time off, free shift meals, and a 35% dining discount for you and your party.

You will prepare Italian dishes from scratch, follow recipes, and maintain high kitchen standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior kitchen experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of kitchen/line cook experience preferred.
• Good English communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Italian dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results.
• Know and comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Portion all products, follow recipes, and ensure plates look beautiful.
• Keep the station clean and organized; follow sanitation standards and food handling guidelines.

Qualifications

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred. You should have good English communication skills, comfortable standing for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
