Unicoi State Park & Lodge is seeking a dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team in the North Georgia mountains. You will prepare and cook menu items across our dining outlets, maintain quality, and stay on top of sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a passion for great food. The role requires following recipes and adapting during busy service, with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Work efficiently across the line during busy service periods.
• Maintain proper food quality, portioning, temperatures, and sanitation standards.
• Complete prep work and ensure your station is stocked and ready for service.
• Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, servers, and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment.
