Job summary

Nudy's Cafes in Glen Mills, PA is seeking an accomplished Line Cook to prepare meals to our customers' preferences while upholding quality and safety standards. You will grill, braise, slice, and plate dishes, inform waitstaff when orders are ready, and keep the kitchen and grill area clean.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cooking experience focused on grilling, strong knowledge of food safety guidelines, and excellent multitasking and teamwork skills.

• Tracking components to ensure timely dish completion.
• Liaising with waitstaff when orders are finalized.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly workstation.
• Informing the Manager when equipment needs maintenance.
• Tracking inventory to ensure adequate supplies.

Nudy's Cafes is a multi‑location restaurant company that has been family owned & operated since opening our first location in 1979. The customer journey is one of our keys to success. Nudy's Cafe is the go‑to casual breakfast & lunch location that provides quick, reasonably priced & freshly prepared meals in a family friendly environment. We currently operate in 15 locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Restaurant number 16 will open in 2026! We have positioned ourselves to expand further throughout the Delaware Valley.

We are searching for an accomplished Line Cook to create meals in accordance with customers' preferences. The Line Cook responsibilities include preparing ingredients, informing waitstaff when orders are ready, and cleaning the grill after each shift. You should also monitor inventory to ensure that you have sufficient supplies at all times.

To be successful as a Line Cook, you should be a skilled multitasker who adheres to food safety codes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a cook, preferably with a focus on grilling.

• Thorough knowledge of food safety guidelines.
