The Village at St. Barnabas is looking for experienced Line Cooks

• Job Type: Full Time or Part Time
• Shifts: Daylight and Evening

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and cook specific meals as directed by dietitian.
• Do prep assignments and re-stock items for the next meal.
• Clean work area and equipment; sanitize kitchen after each meal; perform daily cleaning.
• Follow posted schedule for cleaning major equipment and areas.

What You Will Bring:

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain stationary and navigate the facility to deliver meals and take orders.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, sanitation, safety, and presentation.
• Experience cooking lunch, dinner, and catering events.
• Ability to work with urgency and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork attitude.
