Job Summary
To produce and maintain the quality of menu items assigned to your station according to the company's menu recipes and specifications. To ensure the company's safety, sanitation, and food standards are met according to recipes, procedures, quality, and timeliness.
Job Responsibilities
- Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work
- Maintain a brisk, steady pace; stay organized; avoid unnecessary steps
- Follow recipes precisely when prepping or assisting with production
- Use scales, measuring spoons, and recipe cards for portioning; perform portion control tests
- Keep the kitchen and equipment clean; practice "clean as you go"
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality
- Organize supplies ahead of busy periods
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Maintain a safe working environment following OSHA guidelines
- Handle food safely, including receiving, rotating, and stocking food
- Support prep work as needed
