Job summary

Over Easy Flagstaff – Woodlands is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to craft breakfast, brunch, and lunch with care and precision. You will ensure quality, safety, and timely service, while staying updated on menu items and plating standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, following recipes, and maintaining a clean kitchen. Must have at least 16 years old, pass a food handler certification, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive hourly pay and family-friendly perks are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Food Handlers’ certification.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.
• Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information.
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags.
• Prepares foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area.
• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Over Easy guidelines.
