This position is responsible for cooking and cold food production for patients and retail cafes. Responsibilities include batch cooking, following safe food handling and storage procedures, serving food, setting up and tearing down food service stations, transporting supplies, and cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas.

The role supports Nutrition Services' patient, retail café, and catering areas, ensuring the needs of patients, staff, visitors, and customers are met.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to read short sentences with common vocabulary; foodservice experience preferred.
  • Math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of external foodservice experience.
  • Pass pre-employment screening and physical exam.
