Key Responsibilities of the Line Cook:

• Maintain standards in food production and quality.
• Expedite orders promptly.
• Practice excellent sanitation.
• Execute banquet functions as scheduled.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
• Help reduce waste and loss.
• Report equipment repair needs to the chef.
• Participate in training efforts.
• Follow safe work practices.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Check and date deliveries; report variances.
• Ensure coolers are at proper temperatures and cleaned daily.
• Manage inventory requisitions and receive supplies.
• Prepare food according to production plans and recipes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's Culinary Degree and 2 years of culinary experience and/or training, or equivalent.

Other Qualifications:

• Serv Safe Certification preferred.
