Shift Available

Full-Time, 12:00p - 8:00p

What is Your Role? The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food to be served to residents, guests and staff. He/She is accountable for the quality and consistency of the finished product as well as HACCP protocols and all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. The Line Cook is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud. A working knowledge of food products, packaging, product rotation and basic cooking skills is required.

We Are Seeking

• Some High School.
• Some prior experience in a related food service position is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old, due to the Hazardous Occupations Order of the Dept of Labor.
• Must possess a customer service background and orientation.
• A minimum of 1 year related experience in a continuing care retirement community, hospital, hotel, restaurant or similar facility as a Line Cook is preferred.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.
