Clara B's Kitchen Table in Belleville, IL is seeking a line cook who takes pride in handmade dishes and precise timing. Scratch prep and line service are done in-house daily, with multiple stations and a culture of clear communication.

You will follow recipes, bring your craft to the work, keep your station clean and food-safe, and join a team that has each other's backs. 1+ year of line cook experience and solid knife skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of line cook or kitchen experience.
• Solid knife skills and confidence with basic techniques.
• Ability to stay composed and communicate clearly during service.
• Team-first attitude; put the food and station first.

Responsibilities

• Scratch prep and line service with in-house made dishes.
• Manage multiple stations (grill, sauté, cold line, bakehouse support).
• Follow recipes and plating standards while adding personal craft.
• Maintain a tight, clean, and food-safe station at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the team and support colleagues.
