Job description

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

Additional $1.50 shift differential from 6 pm to 6 am. Flexibility needed to accommodate variable schedules, including weekends and overtime.

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 4 pm - 4 am

Location: Must be available to work at both our Pasadena and Deer Park plants as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions quickly and efficiently
• Lift up to 50 lbs., and perform activities like bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Stand and walk on concrete for extended periods
• Maintain product flow along conveyors
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions, exposed to moving mechanical parts
• Use PPE such as bump caps, safety glasses, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves, and safety shoes or boots
• Conduct oneself according to company standards, ethics, and policies

• This role involves performing assembly and packaging tasks in food processing, emphasizing quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble, and package products.
• Inspect finished products for quality, cleanliness, and correct labeling.
• Ensure compliance with company and government quality standards, and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to USDA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards and safety practices.
