Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize LabWare LIMS v8 across multiple labs. You will bridge laboratory staff with IT, translating workflows, testing processes, and reporting into robust system functionality.

You will gather requirements, coordinate enhancements, and support integrations to ensure the LIMS supports Infectious Disease, Toxicology, Environmental Chemistry, and other specialized labs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise software applications.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Experience creating functional specifications, user stories, and test scripts.
• Experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for business users.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Experience creating workflow diagrams and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain LabWare LIMS v8, including system configuration, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
• Support and maintain API integrations between LabWare and external systems.
• Provide architecture, development, testing, enhancement, and support for HL7 integrations.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical documentation.
• Develop workflow diagrams, process documentation, and system specifications.
• Coordinate system enhancements with laboratory leadership and technical teams.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop test plans and test scripts.
• Analyze system performance and recommend process improvements.
• Support data integrity, laboratory informatics initiatives, and security requirements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and recommend timely solutions.
• Train laboratory staff on new functionality and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with other LIMS analysts to prioritize enhancements and communicate project status.
