Job summary

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services is seeking a skilled LIMS developer to transform CTI’s LIMS into a robust, validated system. You will design, test, and maintain databases, UIs, and reports across CTI locations, integrating middleware with instrumentation and supporting IT practices.

You will collaborate with system owners, participate in validation activities, and drive improvements in processes and governance within a global clinical IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 5 years industry experience in related field
• Experience with programming languages such as LIMS Basic, Smalltalk, Postgres, Remisol, SQL, Crystal Reports and pgAdmin.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain LIMS databases, user interfaces, and internal/external reports using LIMS Basic, Smalltalk, Postgres, SQL, Crystal Reports and related languages and tools.
• Develop, test, and maintain middleware interfaces among the CTI LIMS system and instrumentation in all CTI laboratory locations.
• Utilize LIMS internal and external utilities to investigate, debug, and correct errors or faults.
• Work with and support IT staff to create and implement best practices for processes and systems; provide leadership to other developers.
• Communicate IT expectations and results within the organization and to clients.
• Follow applicable SOPs and maintain project documentation.
• Participate in system validation activities as needed.
• Perform, track, and manage related project work in DevOps and other work tracking systems.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide detailed recommendations to IT leadership.
