Asterism IT Solutions LLC invites applications for an experienced LIMS Administrator III to manage and enhance Laboratory Information Management Systems in a public health setting. The role emphasizes hands-on system admin work, database management, and robust HL7 interfaces to support interoperability.

You will work onsite in Oklahoma, collaborating with IT and laboratory teams to optimize workflows, perform upgrades, and deliver training.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, maintain, and enhance LIMS platforms such as LabWare, REES, Neometrix, or similar systems.
• Analyze laboratory workflows and databases to improve system performance and functionality.
• Support LIMS upgrades, installations, validation, testing, backups, and environment refreshes.
• Develop and maintain HL7 ORU messages, HL7 ELR interfaces, and CSV-based laboratory result messaging.
• Support laboratory interoperability initiatives, including PHLIP and CDC ARLN integrations.
• Develop SQL queries, ad hoc reports, and Crystal Reports based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot LIMS issues and coordinate resolutions with vendors and internal IT teams.
• Maintain laboratory equipment connectivity, IP configurations, file transfers, and serial communications.
• Develop and maintain web-based laboratory accessioning pages and visual workflows.
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver training to laboratory staff.
• Ensure compliance with applicable CAP, CLIA, and HIPAA requirements.
• Support technical change management, system security, and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced LIMS Administrator III to manage, maintain, and enhance Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in a public health laboratory environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with laboratory systems administration, database management, system integrations, troubleshooting, and laboratory workflow optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and enhance LIMS platforms such as LabWare, REES, Neometrix, or similar systems.
• Analyze laboratory workflows and databases to improve system performance and functionality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with PHLIP, CDC ARLN, HL7 ORU/ELR, and CSV interfaces.
• Experience with Crystal Reports, laboratory equipment integration, and CAP/CLIA compliance.
