Job summary

Fairmont Mauna Lani is seeking a Limo/Shuttle Driver to provide transportation for guests around the Mauna Lani resort, ensuring a warm, personalized service in a luxury setting.

Candidates should have a valid Driver’s License, excellent English skills, and a friendly, team-oriented approach suitable for a fast-paced hospitality environment on Hawaii's island paradise.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests during their stay with transportation throughout Mauna Lani resort.
• Provide warm, personal service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
• Coordinate group transportation and luggage movements as necessary.
• Support Guest Service Ambassadors and Expeditors when needed.
• Coordinate group activity movements including off-site excursions and golf course transportation.
• Assist other rooms division departments with their operations during peak times.
• Apply hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) and be familiar with fire and life safety procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management of the Hotel.

Job Description

The Limo/Shuttle Driver is responsible to provide transportation to hotel guests to and from various locations throughout the property.

What you will be doing:

• Assist guests' during their stay with transportation throughout the Mauna Lani resort.


• Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.


• Ensure a positive first impression of the resort for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.


• Try to remember individual’s names and their preferences to extend a personalized service


• Assist with group transportation and luggage movements as necessary


• Support Guest Service Ambassadors and Expeditors when needed


• Coordinate group activity movements including off-site excursions, golf course transportation, whether by Hotel Shuttle or DMC/ Transportation charter and assist where required.


• Assist other rooms division departments with their operations during peak times or when required


• Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)


• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures


• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times


• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel

$26.00 USD

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
