About the Department

The Business Administration program emphasizes preparation for decision making in a business environment. Faculty members have practical experience in a variety of industries, which they bring into the classroom to provide real‑world examples that complement business theories.

Position Description

Limited‑Term Instructors are full‑time faculty hired on a semester‑to‑semester basis. The position is renewable for a maximum of three semesters and is dependent on enrollment. The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing 18 semester hours of instruction per semester.
• Providing student support and advising.
• Maintaining an average of 10 office hours per week.
• Working effectively and professionally with colleagues.
• Teaching a mix of in‑person and online classes.

Required Experience

A minimum of a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a Master’s degree with at least 18 semester (or 27 quarter) graduate hours in relevant coursework completed by the anticipated date of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

Prior teaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to teach Business at the collegiate level.
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relating to students and facilitating student learning.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology and the ability to teach online.
