Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management in Westlake, OH, is seeking a Respiratory Care Assistant who will learn and apply hospital standards. After completing education and competency verifications, you will provide satisfactory respiratory care independently.

Responsibilities include medicated aerosol delivery, airway clearance therapy, patient monitoring (bedside spirometry, noninvasive monitors, ECG), and oxygen/humidity therapy, along with CPR and data collection as needed.

A Brief Overview

The Respiratory Care Assistant is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This Assistant performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory care independently post verification of education and completed competency.
