Job summary

Baptist Urgent Care in Germantown, TN is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. The role includes performing x-ray testing, developing films, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties in a busy urgent care setting.

Full-time positions offer a rotating 36-40 hour work week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend, with PRN opportunities. Applicants should have a high school diploma, BLS, TN X-Ray license, and preferably ARRT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• TN State X-Ray License is required.
• ARRT Certification is preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients promptly in waiting area, exam room, or radiology room.
• Communicates wait times and guides patients to next steps in treatment.
• Provides solutions to patient problems and seeks help in emergent situations.
• Performs timely radiology procedures and assists with follow-up as directed by the physician.
• Assists with patient history, vital signs, and documentation of visits.
• Supports front desk with check-in/out when needed.
• Maintains equipment and reports malfunctions to the manager or on-duty provider.
• Maintains licensure and certification for radiology equipment and procedures.
