Job summary

Valley Tel Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Oregon LEA/LEB Licensed Low Voltage Journeyman for commercial and industrial projects in Eugene and Roseburg. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, test, and certify Cat6, fiber optic, IP-CCTV, access control, alarms, and low-voltage infrastructure.

Apprentices are welcome. The company offers pathways toward project management and estimating, plus a company-provided vehicle and competitive compensation starting at $80,000–$83,000+ annually.

VTS is looking for an experienced, motivated Oregon LEA or LEB Licensed Limited Energy Journeyman to join our team. Current low voltage apprentices are welcomed to apply as well.

You’ll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and certifying:

Cat6 and structured cabling systems
Fiber optic systems
IP-CCTV and surveillance systems
Access control systems
Alarm/Intrusion systems
New and existing low-voltage infrastructure

You’ll be trusted to troubleshoot issues, make sound decisions in the field, communicate with customers and team members, and deliver installations that meet VTS’s high standards.

Previous experience with access control systems is a plus.

Required:

Oregon LEA or LEB license; current low voltage apprentices will be considered
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
